Dan Graham is a highly experienced disaster risk reduction professional, with a particular passion for water & flood safety/rescue. His track record of delivering high-quality consultancy, and engaging training courses stretches back over 20 years. He regularly teaches technical rescue and safety courses for a wide range of clients across the world. He was previously based in the Rohingya Refugee Response in Bangladesh, working to provide firefighting, flood safety and SAR training to the Bangladeshi and Rohinyga refugee populations, which resulted in co-developing the largest refugee-led firefighting service in the world. He has recently achieved Distinction for a Masters in Disaster Resilience and Sustainable Development at the University of Newcastle, Australia, which is co-certified by UNITAR and UNDRR.
